Sunny Monday..... I love it.

OK...so no pics today and you would think I would have some because its spring break for the kids. well hopefully I will have some by the end of the week. I did do a photo shoot on Friday. Was supposed to do it with my sis but she couldn't make it so it was just me. There was a one year old boy and a five year old girl and boy were they fun. I think I actually got some good pics even though the one year old was just loving to run around and have fun. LOL


Anyhow on to more interesting things.....I think.

Today's verse is:

And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will break out in thanksgiving to God. (2 Cor. 9:11)


Basically I believe that this means we glorify God when we give to people who are in need. And we should always try to glorify God in everything thing we do. I want to glorify him even in my photography and I think I am slowly finding ways to do that. Well I think today's verse was pretty simple and right to the point. So Happy Monday!!!!

Also I read a verse in Sunday School which I just love and I thought I would share that here too. We are learning about cults right now and it is very, very interesting. Anyhow here is the verse.

It is Colossians 1:16 and it says:

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. all things were created through Him and for Him.

WOW!!!! Doesn't that just say it all. We are on this great earth that He put here for us. He created everything!!! Everywhere!!! Everyone!!! Just WOW!!! He is glorious. I love Jesus!!! There is no doubt about that. And he loves me even though I am me. I am so thankful for that.

April is the month of giving.....

Well at least in my planner it is. I figured I would start something new and share the daily verses from my planner with you and then maybe a little blurb from me to go with it. So here is the first one.

Friday April 4th

Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you have already given us! (1 Chron. 29:14). Feel free to look this up.

I too believe that everything I have is from GOD....my computer, my house, my car, money and well just everything. But this verse is referring to tithing. It is saying when we give, we are giving back what he has given us. In reality it was his in the first place. We are just borrowing it for a short time. It is important for us not to get tangled in material things even though it is very difficult at times. I also believe we shouldn't worry about money. GOD takes care of us how he sees fit. Our possessions are not the most important thing....he is. So we should tithe knowing that we are just giving back what he gave us and we should try our hardest to remember when we are giving to our churches that the money is important to help our churches grow and thrive. And I will admit that I am not the best at tithing but I aim to try harder and do what GOD wants me to do with his money.
